Tax Practice Manager

As the Tax Practice Manager, I’m tasked with creating, implementing, overseeing, and improving the processes at Potentia Tax — both client-facing and internal. Using my Six Sigma training, along with my background in client services, operations, quality assurance, training, development, and office management, I continually seek ways to reduce inefficiencies and improve the client experience.
Process drives the entire client experience — whether onboarding new clients, overseeing the tax documents of legacy clients, developing effective long-term tax strategies, or communicating with clients and teammates. And by doing my job effectively, I help minimize errors, reduce the client’s administrative burden, ensure documents are in order and accessible, provide organization and structure, meet deadlines, keep everyone informed, and limit inefficiencies. The end result? Satisfied clients and colleagues.
I’m originally from the Philippines, which is one of my favorite places to visit. While there, I enjoy visiting family, laughing, and recharging. I live with my wife in San Jose, where we enjoy hiking, spending time outdoors, listening to music, and watching movies.
